Car Detailing Website

I designed this website for a client who owns a local car detailing business. They needed a site for customers to find information, view product packages, and schedule appointments with ease. Based on the client's goals for the site, I laid out the functions and sections to align with the business' mission and users' needs. Using Wix, I was able to make this website in a matter of weeks and provide my client with the online presence they needed to grow their business. The website is now a valuable tool that enhances customer convenience and streamlines business interactions with ease.

Client Website and Logo

I developed this website for a family-owned business that wanted to showcase its HVAC and Duct services. The primary goal was to create a user-friendly site where prospective clients could easily access information about the business’ values, services, and social links. In addition to the site, I carefully designed the company logo ensuring that it aligned with the company's brand identity. Using Wix, I crafted a visually appealing and functional site that reflects the professional and honest nature of the business and the services provided. I also used the Wix platform to ensure the site had optimal SEO to boost the business' analytics.

HTML Coded Website

While learning web design for a senior capstone class, I expanded my knowledge of HTML and CSS by coding a website from scratch through many iterations and updates. The site was meticulously designed to be an easy-to-navigate, informational site for users to learn about cybercrime, cybersecurity, and safe online practices. For many weeks I used not only HTML and CSS to create a seamless design, but I also utilized JavaScript for smooth animations. This website became my most substantial application of both HTML and CSS and I am proud of how much I learned through this hands-on project.​

Grooming Website Design

I created this website for a local pet grooming business that wanted to enhance its online presence. The main objective was to develop an easy-to-navigate platform where clients could find information about the company’s mission, grooming packages, and pricing. I designed the site with the target audience in mind to ensure an intuitive layout that aligns with the users' needs and search for information. The process of creating this site involved collaborating closely with the client to understand their unique needs and dedication to quality pet care. 

Social Media Campaign

For a Social Media Marketing course, I spent a semester conceptualizing a company for which to plan and execute a marketing campaign. For my company, My Earth Social, I was the social media manager focused on promoting environmental communication on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Bringing my company's vision and goals to fruition, I used my design skills and knowledge of trends to target an intended audience. This all-inclusive social media project strengthened my understanding of social media platforms and the complexity of content creation. ​

Database Design

Using MySQL for a Database Concepts class, I learned how to create a database with relationships, primary keys, and foreign keys. Using indexing strategies and SQL operations like JOIN, I wrote and revised the data to eliminate redundancies. I also employed normalization techniques to enhance data integrity and manage the data efficiently. While I had a lot of guidance I am confident in my understanding of database design and can continue learning SQL strategies to increase my data management skills.
